Things Reborn was in the process of being redecorated for the holidays today. Actually it was mostly Layla moving the little trees around to various displays to make the store look more holiday-ish.

In between the shifting of the trees, Layla was quite happily making her usual inflammatory posts to various hero-worshiping websites.

Layla was behind the counter again, this time making notes in her diary as she listened to last night's news broadcast...

Which totally reminded her that she had to harvest some grapes on Farmville except that she had left her laptop back in her room.

WOE.

The box fort was back in force today behind the counter. However Layla was adding her own special touches with it by adding a few dolls at key entry points as guards and a Barbie doll on the highest tower/box.

What? Like you expected her to work today?

After two days some time spent realizing that the DVDs were actually in the plastic boxes that Tony had loaned him, and not the plastic boxes themselves, and then that, while he had no DVD player on his TV, he did have one that seemed to work perfectly well on his laptop, Castiel had spent his weekend watching Space BattlesAnd now he was sitting in ( Read more... )

It was still a good day to torment guests and locals alike and there was still plenty of food (courtesy of your Fandom High StuCO) in the Park, welcoming visitors to Fandom Island.

The registration desk was still open and the banner waved in the comfortable breeze announcing the event of the day.

This... was not a day to be doing inventory.

Layla spent the morning at the store re-doing the front window so it was filled with mannequins wearing various types of costumes.

However if you read the sign in the window you'd know it wasn't for Halloween.

After doing her thing at the dorms this morning, Layla was back over at work organizing things for the day. Since she knew that it wasn't just students that were affected, Layla had placed a display of jeans, slacks, novelty t-shirts and dress shirts at the front of the store.
